These CEU approved classes are for electrologist(s) only. The fee is $250.00 per 7 hour day. The Personalized Advanced Training class is adapted to the electrologists’ specific needs. We also offer “Group Rates” for a class of six or more at your location. A Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) teaches each one of these classes.

These courses will give to the electrologist enough elements to attach to the highest standards of quality, and in this way, he or she will have an appropriate psychological attitude, appropriate channels of communication, professional qualities and understanding and practice of the Professional Code of Ethics.

We teach to the electrologist to understand the importance of an excellent Consultation; since depending on the quality of this the patients will have the necessary and accurate information to evaluate the treatment and the electrologist makes sure the permanency of the same one until the end of the treatment. We also point out the importance of gathering the patient’s information in the clinical history to be able to take the records of some change occurs to have a continuity on the clients file.

The importance will also be pointed out of detecting some contradiction, contraindication or some element of importance that could provides us information of and toward the patient to develop a special plan of treatment for the same one.

Likewise, it will be studied the best way that a professional electrologist should have organized the Workstation, so that the same one is functional, professional, appropriate and with all the elements and instruments that he or she should have, as well as to learn and to put before into practice the norms of Hygiene and Security that our profession demands us in the before, during and after the treatment.

It will also be studied the same principles of the electrolysis, their History, and with it the evolution of the same one, until arriving to the study of each one of the epilation techniques, like it is, the study of the Electrolysis, Thermolysis and Blend.

And in the program of the Skin and their Appendixes, the study of the hair, the pilo-sebaceous unit, the sebaceous and sudoriparus glands, we will recapture the role that each one plays and we will study some cutaneous abnormalities for the detection of some illness.
The courses are designed to be imparted in seven hours (those that last one day), and fourteen hours (those that last two days) organized in the following way:

The classes will be imparted in slides, power point presentations, written material and hands on training; the student will get material corresponding of the presentation taken, as well as the accreditation of the course with a certificate of “Advance Training” having an accreditation of .7 CEUґs for a 7 hour program for the one day training and of 1.4 CEUґs for a 14 hours program or two days training.
